The CPM is having talks with the EP on what sort of things he wants to see for sale in Dust 514. So far I don't mind what he has planned but its going to require much more thinking on the CPM and the community's part to figure out how to go forward from there in monetizing more things. Just CCP Rouge needs time and touch base with the developers in Shanghai to see all the options available to him and to that end the Community.
I am for one all the more for paints and customization with both temporary, limited, and permanent options (ie you buy a paint color bucket but it adds a price to every drop suit with that scheme you lose, in secondary market it consumes paint chips)

BPOs I am a bit iffy on. To that end I would like see a new mechanic put on BPOs a time limit on them. that for (x days) said equipment is bpo'ed afterward you have to get new ones and skill into them. Then we can sell trail packs for good value, like an amarr trail pack 5 usd for a month but limit 1 per customer.
Temporary Skill points. I am a bit iffy on this one as well. I would however like to see a new skill queue system implemented that allows passive skills to be dumped in portions to an arranged skill you have set and any and all skill points you earn while the queue is active goes towards that skill level. Once meet the pool returns to neutral unspent.
The reason for this is I would like to see a sellable 'booster' of sorts that allows you 'convert' unspent SP into flex SP. Flex SP can be assigned anywhere on the queue and the skill will take effect if enough sufficient flex SP is meet. As time progresses assigned flex SP is converted into spent sp at the same rates earned in the skills in the order you assigned flex SP into while still earning regular SP on top of that. The booster expires when all flex SP is spent. One slot no time limit outside passive eating all of assigned flex points up. Flex points are assigned/spent first always.
Sell this one stupid cheap (like 1-2$ max for 5 million flex points)
What I would also Like to see is more types of boosters
For example
Active Booster (100 Battles)
Same rate gains but only counts down per battle. Price should be competitive with average player base battle consumption (so lets say 100 per week is average the 7 day and 100 battle active will be similar priced)
Map Design
Think Halo Forge system.
I say give everyone a free map 'slot' (ingame fees apply ie costs appox 20 million in materials to design a map) to share with friends and invite enemies over to play for free. Have a charged service to publish map (something cheap like 1 usd a month) maps designed are put into its own pool which has a special EOM screen to vote on the map. Popular maps and new maps are rotated in. The very best designed maps should get a review quarterly by CCP, poke the community to write reviews and if its really good add it to the rotation of standard maps of Dust 514. Designer gets goodies (like free passive boosters for a year) additional map slots can be bought.
Holiday stuff if ever, should be free.
The last thing I want to add is player forum avatar changes or purchases to include any suit the player has access to, keep it cheap (50 cents) to buy and free to swap or 50 cents to swap.
Corp Pride Banners, Building Tags (PC fights where the corp own that building and everyone will know it) Flags, Larger emblems, Corp Colorable Outposts to corp colors, Striping (so players can still customize their colors) will adorn the corps members on the field.
